New Year blog
As we head into 2022 and the craziness of opening our site has started to calm, my mind wonders to the people who come here and why….
This weekend we have chatted away to New Year revellers, who talk of our site as their ‘retreat!’ A compliment not to be dismissed, as we take time to realise that what we have on offer here at Bredon-Vale is so much more than just a business.
Our guests come here to re-connect with family and friends…they come to just sit and relax, to be mindful and enjoy the views and wildlife. Some, are recovering or even living with a life changing health issue and some are moving forward with their careers attending courses or interviews.
We came to The Heath to build an outdoor life, where we could work as a family to build on the wildlife here and be as self sufficient as possible. However, we now realise we are creating and offering so much more.
2022 will see the start of our Foraging and Bushcraft courses – a weekend camping with walking, learning, socialising and eating! We are excited to add this addition, as well as look at further opportunities and to meet new guests who enjoy our site for the many different reasons….
Mother Nature’s larder is waiting for you, if you know where to look.
